OCS - >.< -

Okay i got my posting already...I made it to OCS...now i'm wondering if its the right move. 9 months of shit. Reservice till 45 years old. How lah....>.<....Alfred just OOC cuz he fell dislocated his shoulder. What if i survive 8 months and some shit happens? It would all go down the drain man.

Okay so for 9 months of pain and hardship...but a lifetime of honour and glory. Big deal...i can make more money if i dont go OCS. Anyways I am glad i made it in...this means that i have succeeded in my application. Airforce told me, if i wanted to be a pilot, i would hafta make it to OCS first...and its hard to make it in...I still have no idea how i made it in. I remember fucking this guy up during my situational test cuz he was being an asshole and my facilitator was looking. But still i got quite high for it...Apparantly that guy i fucked, is also condemned by the rest of the detail. Haha..I just helped them out.

I dont know why but i like to put people in their place. The only ones that can put me in my place is Joann, Barry and Bryan. LoL... I think i shut up whenever they bang their fist on e table.

Only another guy from my platoon made it in. Urgh...its sad cuz most of them went to sispec. Some even better.. 8 - 5...there isnt even stay in. I thought to myself either its ALL or NOTHING... Now i have the ALL... Might as well make the best out of it. They have a high percentage of dropouts cuz of the training and mental torture.

However Warrant Ee told us this before... We guys thought we couldent survive BMT, but we did in the end...so how did it do it?...up here...( In our heads )

Okay...so i will try to adapt as fast as i can... Hopefully i'd enjoy it.

One of my best days of the year!

On Par with the day i went to Shangri La...i think today was really wonderful. Its one of the best days i had since army begun.. Or in fact...my life. Its memories like these that would be kept close to the heart. With Joann, my angel o.*....and cousins and friends at work...

Joann & I spent e afternoon together...well basically doing nothing much but still! Seeing her already makes me elated! Its good to have her back...even for 3 weeks...But i doubt i'd see her again. Its sad though to see someone only once when shes back for3 weeks...and then u cant see her until another year.. Sighs. But oh wells, I am just really happy that i got to see her bubbly, cheery face again! Well shes grown slimmer? Hotter definately! Haha Its like wow...>.< And she love e paintings! Luckily! Hey if u're reading this...mmmZ when u told me about not being late and stuff and u would be angry if i were late? I really rushed down all e way k? I unplugged my Ipod and left my com to off by its own and dashed out of the house! Thats how anxious i was! Cant afford to let e angel wait could i?

Went to work today...and we stayed back. Barry, Bryan, Kenneth and I....had drinks and we went mad! We talked about stuff like the 3 most essential things we shd have in life?...i chose money, education and love. While bryan was Money, time and love?...Ken was Money, happiness and love. And lastly Barry, friends, family health. After hearing Ken's one...i feel that yea...i think happiness is a good one. Family and friends are a need too! So if i could have another chance to say...it would be Happiness, family and friends. Cuz it all boils down to these 3.

However love is secondary though. Who can afford to love someone else when he isnt happy or when there isnt the basic FAMILY to start off with...

Oh wells...I really had a great day. Really.. :)

Zoukout!

Zoukout this year round was really good! It just keeps getting better and better. My second zoukout and wow! i am amazed that they keep coming up with such power events man! Even Jazzy! Jazzy was really unique this time round! His scratching was godly, and so freaking original... E retro arena was awesome! Its just like another mambo night...except that the dj wasnt really popular. But who gives a shit! good music begets good mood! I was dancing like crazy!

Next zoukout...I'm all out for it!

POP

Finally a private...6th Dec 2006. However, its saddening to leave Tekong. This is when hell starts for all of us. When we are no longer innocent recruits. Staying in Tekong was definately a memorable one. Now, we go our separate ways. Hopefully to meet the ones we know when we go to our respective units.

The days in Tekong were controlled not by us, but by our commanders. Though we hate others overwhelming us, we still laugh about it and have fun along the way. I could see our sarges' faces as we left. They were sad alright.

I wouldent mind going thru that shit again... cuz luckily for me, i am blessed with such good buddies. Sighs... So happy, yet so sad.

The 24 km road march!

It started out in the afternoon...on Thursday. We had like 3 water parades hourly before the march started. Having to go to the toilet every 5mins...i grabbed my balls and rifle and tried to hold my pee while they were debriefing us. Then it started, after an entire school warmup. It was about 3pm then...under scorching heat, it seemed that the "air-con" in my helmet had turned up a notch.

I was platoon song IC and never once did i left the platoon without a song in order for them not to feel tired.. Our first pit stop was at the old Sispec parade square. It was really hot and we had a water parade. Could see everyone, even sergeants and commanders scurrying towards the shade.

15 mins later...We were told to put everything on and off we headed to Sanyongkong camp. This time round, the stupid terrain was rocky... and really really muddy. Urgh. The second 4 km was hell because of the terrain and heat. I paced the song according to the steps but could see that everyone was getting to be really tired. The response to the song was getting softer and softer.

We reached the second checkpoint opp. a training shed in Sanyongkong camp. It was fucking hot cuz this time round, there wasnt any shade. And it was like the expressway there cuz of the bloody mosquitoes. I could clap my hand and easily kill one.

It started to rain toward the end of our 15min break! Our spirits brightened this time! we headed off doing the infantry roar! Funny, we hit each other's backpacks and did it... We were the last company and last platoon of the entire school to head off. This time round, i made my way to the back and chatted with Sgts Uzairi, Jon and Lawrance. They were okay and for the first time, Lawrance wasnt being such an asshole. Sgt Zairi was shacked and this time, we "suaned" him by telling him "Oie sgt, look at us, we also carrying fullpack. we still recruits can take it"... but we were shacked as well lol..... Cuz he kept telling us that before... so time for his own medicine lol.

We reached Sispec again, this time for our dinner. It was getting dark already but we got western! Upon reaching, i got the platoon to chant out what we might get for dinner. So we guessed western! den kept chanting "western" with this tune that never dies. Then we were guessing brocolli for vege! and we chanted that...and really came out brocolli! LoL....
Our OC got us kit kat too! and we had a can of 100plus! ice cold! happy like fuck!

Then we took off to the malay village... This time we sang cartoon songs... from adams family, scooby doo, flinstones, batman, starwars all the way to classical tunes like Mozart. >.<
We played a game too... goes like... i hafta say a phrase...and the next guy has to come up with another phrase to rhyme with the last word of my phrase. and he gets a time limit. Its really fun! None of us got tired with playing that.

We came to the malay village...and let down everything. plonked ourselves onto our webbing and sat there awhile. Oh yah..me, jon, jek and eechuan were in front of Cougar Coy. And we were discussing a song....that 12 days of xmas song and we changed the lyrics...really funny.

And we started to sing that song on our 16-20th km back to Sispec. Looks like we visited sispec loads of times...urgh...tekong is really small...we just walk around it only.

This time we were kinda tired on the 20th km and 5th pit stop. But we didnt give up! so on the last 4km, we took out our whistles and started to sing. Our company was super kp. Sing all the funny pop songs. From aerosmith to savage garden. All the gay boybands were brought up again. And we made it back. Not a single one fell out from the march and it was a complete success.

After marching 24km...walking anywhere is no problem...it almost seems that we are flying without wings!!!
